About The Six
In Summer 2025, The Six — the first-ever intern cohort at the Office of Procurement Management — joined OPM for a season of learning, collaboration, and project work.
The program began with group sessions on the fundamentals of procurement, followed by hands-on contributions such as organizing the office and assisting with daily operations.

Each intern then took on an individual project, applying their skills to areas ranging from website development to process improvements. This page presents their work, their final presentation, and an overview of OPM’s first internship program.
Final Project Showcase
At the conclusion of the program, the interns presented their projects and key takeaways to OPM staff and even the Chief Procurement Officer.
