List of Potential Candidates Delivered to Governor
On March 30, 2023, the Council delivered to Governor Josh Green's office a list of candidates for one Honolulu County seat, one Maui County seat, and one Hawaiʻi County seat on the University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents.
A list of five Honolulu candidates, three Maui candidates, and four Hawaiʻi candidates was provided, from which one each may be nominated by the Governor for appointment to the BOR effective July 1, 2023, with consent of the Hawaiʻi State Senate.
