Jazz singer Charmaine Clamor

Celebrated by as “a gifted vocalist” and by as “one of the important and original new jazz singers of the decade,” Filipino-American recording artist Clamor introduced jazzipino to the world, a new music style blending American jazz with music from her home country. Clamor’s bold vision and sublime vocal tenderness solidified her role as her birth country’s most celebrated international musical ambassador. Clamor’s artistry was featured on ’s “The World” and ’s “Weekend Edition,” which described her music as “the perfect bridge of two cultures.” Clamor has been credited with introducing authentic Filipino musical culture to mainstream listeners.

Special guest Lagrimas is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and composer raised in Waipahu. Predominantly known as a drummer, Lagrimas is highly proficient on the vibraphone and the ukulele and continues to perform throughout the world on all three instruments. While still in high school, Lagrimas received endorsement deals from major drum manufacturers ( and ) and earned a reputation as one of Hawaiʻi’s elite musicians. His latest album entitled , plays tribute to Michael Jackson and showcases solo ukulele arrangements of Jackson’s music. The album was recognized by the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts in the 2011.
