Financial Aid
The CIS program has limited financial resources available to support qualified students. Financial aid is in the form of research assistantships or teaching assistantships, which provide tuition waivers, benefits, and a stipend. 聽TA positions are with the supporting areas (LIS, COM, ICS, ITM). Students also may find GA or TA positions in other units of the university, depending on qualifications and availability. For more info, please visit our Assistantships .
There is also some direct scholarship for tuition available for highly qualified students.
The CIS Program Director will work with newly accepted students to determine if financial aid is available and can be guaranteed as part of the admissions process.
Each year we also receive a moderate amount of tuition scholarship funds. These are applicable only to tuition costs.
