The ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ Political Internship Program places Juniors and Seniors from any Major program in top-ranked political offices in HawaiÊ»i and Washington DC to learn invaluable, career building skills and to refine your academic acuity. Half-time and full-time internships are available in congressional, judicial, and legislative offices and come with a scholarship to cover all relevant courses (and travel and housing in DC). This opportunity is open to all ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ full-time students with a Junior or Senior standing and a 3.0+ GPA. Interning in a political office is advantageous for students in any major program. Applications for the internships are available on STAR, using search terms: • Governor B962 • Lt. Governor B963 • HawaiÊ»i State Legislature B984 • District Congressional Delegation B915 (Also open to sophomores) • HawaiÊ»i Judicial Internship B977 • U.S. Congressional Internship B985. Applications for Spring 2027 placement are due on STAR September 15 2026. Attend orientation and coaching session in Dean Hall 6 to prepare.
