The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa Outreach College<\/a> presents the KIDS FIRST! film festival<\/a> on four consecutive Sundays in July at the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Art Auditorium. In its 13th year, this summer event offers family-friendly films from around the world.<\/p>\n

The festival will showcase animation and live-action shorts suitable for ages 3 and older. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. The program starts at 3 p.m. with door prizes followed by the screening.<\/p>\n

KIDS FIRST! opens on July 7, with an all-animation program including television favorites and independent films geared to children ages 3 and older. The July 14 award-winning films, selected for keiki ages 5 and above, span the globe from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Singapore, United Kingdom and the U.S.<\/abbr><\/p>\n

The event on July 21, intended for ages 8 and older, will feature films about puppies, cats, fish and horses as well as stories about human adventures. Finally, on July 28, the screening is for a variety of ages and focuses on empowered youth who are making a difference in the world they will inherit.<\/p>\n

\nFilms: Story Time!, Miles Away, Our Way to Fall, Lilly Hits the Road, The Little Fish and the Crocodile, Toco Tim and the Turtles, Moko the Young Explorer, Dream Catcher, A Dreamer’s Melody, Grizzy and the Lemmings, Max and the Dragonfly, Team MeowSA<\/em><\/p>\n
