He was an unheralded walk-on, coming to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> sight unseen to follow his dream of playing college basketball.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, he has experienced the highs and lows of the program, from <abbr title=\"National Collegiate Athletic Association\">NCAA<\/abbr> turmoil to an <abbr>NCAA<\/abbr> tournament win. Motivated by his family, the senior has gone from a freshman walk-on to the senior team captain of the Rainbow Warriors.
