The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> offers world-class excellence across multiple subject areas, according to the 2018 United Kingdom-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS<\/abbr>) international rankings, considered one of the most prestigious ranking entities in higher education.<\/p>\n

糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>‘s flagship campus was considered in all 48 subjects that the QS<\/abbr> ranking evaluated. QS<\/abbr> made a special comment on M\u0101noa’s academic and research excellence that “it is very unusual for an institution to qualify for consideration in all 48 subjects.”<\/p>\n

“This is further proof that Hawaiʻi<\/span> is home to one of the world’s great research institutions that provides an amazing array of opportunities for students from here and abroad,” said 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Interim Chancellor David Lassner<\/strong><\/a>. “It also shows that the university offers one of the best and most comprehensive academic and research opportunities to our undergraduate and graduate students.”<\/p>\n

QS<\/abbr> considered the top 4,500 universities, out of more than 20,000 institutions for higher education in the world, and evaluated them by subjects on four criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper and the h-index, which measures both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist or scholar.<\/p>\n

Among the 48 subjects, 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is ranked in 14: earth science<\/a>, linguistics<\/a>, environmental sciences<\/a>, physics<\/a>, languages<\/a>, philosophy<\/a>, English<\/a>, agriculture<\/a>, biology<\/a>, medicine<\/a>, communication<\/a>, education<\/a>, sociology<\/a> and economics<\/a>. Earth science and linguistics are ranked in the range of 51-100 internationally. In the broad subject areas, 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa was rated 325th in the world in natural sciences<\/a>, 431st internationally in arts and humanities<\/a>, and in the 401-450 range in life sciences<\/a> and medicine<\/a> globally.<\/p>\n
