Only 24 out of approximately 200 university chapters received the Outstanding Chapter Award for the 2010&#8211;11 academic year.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>IEEE<\/abbr>&#8211;<abbr>HKN<\/abbr> is <abbr>IEEE<\/abbr>&#8217;s student honor society. The members are selected on the basis of academic excellence, leadership, outstanding character  and service. There are over 200,000 <abbr>IEEE<\/abbr>&#8211;<abbr>HKN<\/abbr> members worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The featured speaker at last month&#8217;s banquet was Emeritus Professor <strong>Kazutoshi Najita<\/strong>, who was instrumental in establishing the <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa chapter in 1963.
