Their program creates an important bridge between academic and real world software development and I hope we can continue this partnership for many years to come.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>One of the university\u2019s strategic directions is to create additional high-quality jobs and diversify <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>\u2019s economy through innovation. <strong>Garret Yoshimi<\/strong>, <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> vice president for information technology and <abbr title=\"Chief Information Officer\">CIO<\/abbr>, says the internship program helps the university tie together its <abbr title=\"science, technology, engineering and mathematics\">STEM<\/abbr> and broad workforce development initiatives. &ldquo;The opportunity to gain real work experience, on project teams delivering actual customer projects, is invaluable in giving our students the best chance to succeed in the industry. The eWorld<abbr>ES<\/abbr> team continues to make significant investments in our future workforce through high-quality student internships, thereby bringing practical, real-world balance to our students\u2019 educational experience at <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>To date, 18 students from <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa have participated in the eWorld<abbr>ES<\/abbr> internship program. To illustrate the success of the internship program, 27 of eWorld<abbr>ES<\/abbr>\u2019 current and past employees were graduates of <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s <abbr title=\"Information and Computer Sciences\">ICS<\/abbr> program\u201412 interns were hired by eWorld<abbr>ES<\/abbr> and 4 interns have pursued careers on the mainland.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mizokawa, &ldquo;Working within a team environment, we provide our interns with relevant career experiences using the latest development tools.
