allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>A progress report on efforts at the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> at M\u0101noa to improve student recruitment and retention, among other matters, was provided on June 1, 2017 to the Board of Regents by <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Interim Chancellor <strong>David Lassner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/manoa-wrc-exterior.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/manoa-wrc-exterior-260x146.jpg\" alt=\"Outside the Warrior Rec Center at U H Manoa\" width=\"260\" height=\"146\" class=\"alignright of a new 3-year tuition schedule for the ten-campus <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> system, the regents directed that <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa focus on the following items and provide a status report within a year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alternative financing of repairs such as has been done at the community colleges and for energy management<\/li>\n<li>An enrollment management plan to address recruitment and retention with target numbers<\/li>\n<li><abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa campus master plan, based on a study of current space utilization that incorporates the findings of the high-level systemwide integrated academic and facilities strategic plan that the board passed at a prior meeting<\/li>\n<li>Internal academic restructuring and redesign of <abbr\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa to enable the campus to move forward as a modern research university focused on holistic 21st century needs of the State of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and comprehensive resource planning for dollars, positions and space that focuses on overall campus priorities and recognizes the changing reality of financing public higher education in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the nation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alternative financing of
