Hawaiʻi<\/span> Community College<\/a> will host the 4th Annual Hawaiʻi<\/span> Community College Day<\/a> on February 24, 9 a.m.—1 p.m. at the Manono Campus in Hilo.<\/p>\n

The day will begin with a kīpaepae welina, a traditional Native Hawaiian welcoming ceremony. The college’s academic programs and student services will present interactive exhibits that highlight the degree and certificate programs available at the campus.<\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

“Hawaiʻi<\/span> Community College has been serving the community for more than 75 years with high-quality programs that prepare students for success,” said Chancellor Rachel Solemsaas<\/a><\/strong>. “We encourage community members to visit the campus on Hawaiʻi<\/span> CC<\/abbr> Day to learn more about the higher education options available on Hawaiʻi<\/span> Island.”<\/p>\n

ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ors who are interested in enrolling at Hawaiʻi<\/span> CC<\/abbr> for the fall 2017 semester will be able to participate in “express admissions” by completing an application and learning more about the next steps in the enrollment process. Hawaiʻi<\/span> CC<\/abbr> staff members will be available to help with enrollment.<\/p>\n
