Multiple $1,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabilityuhm.github.io\/pgaward\/student-leader-award.html\">Green Student Leader Awards<\/a> are also available to recognize and support students who take on leadership roles in sustainability related activities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span><\/a> graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to apply, and partnerships with staff and faculty members are encouraged. Projects that align with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/sustainability\/get-involved\/many-minds-one-university\/\">Many Minds, One University<\/a> systemwide focused inquiry project exploring local food issues will receive priority consideration. Any project proposals impacting campus operations must be approved by campus administrators and\/or facilities and operations staff.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabilityuhm.github.io\/pgaward\/green-imp.html\">Submit Project proposals<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabilityuhm.github.io\/pgaward\/student-leader-award.html\">Nominate a student green letter<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/a\/hawaii.edu\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScbTNuK4MsnTuyiIv6xW2Q4Yxoh2fdEc4iPD9KD3b5RT4VYFQ\/viewform?c=0&#038;w=1\">Nominate green faculty\/staff awards<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabilityuhm.github.io\/pgaward\/\">Learn more about the program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;Our students are incredibly passionate and effective in advancing sustainability across our mission on all islands,&rdquo; said <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> President <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.hawaii.edu\/~david\/\">David Lassner<\/a><\/strong>. &ldquo;I look forward to being inspired by their visions, ideas and plans.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Past winning projects include an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2016\/07\/27\/house-built-out-of-albizia-wood-might-solve-multiple-sustainability-issues\/\">albizia wood housing design<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/\"><abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2016\/03\/11\/first-uh-presidents-green-initiative-awards-winners-recognized\/\">integrated resource recovery<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leeward.hawaii.edu\/\">Leeward Community College<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Solving the sustainability challenges faced by our campuses and communities require collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurial problem-solving,&rdquo;
