School teachers and students are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The open house will provide an opportunity to learn about physics and what we do here at the physics and astronomy department: collaborating with leading research\u00a0institutes all over the world for wider scientific\u00a0research and accelerating the development of cutting-edge solutions for the worldwide community,&rdquo; said physics Associate Professor\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phys.hawaii.edu\/people\/faculty\/bindi.html\">Veronica Bindi<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The open house will\u00a0include\u00a0a variety of live demonstrations that illustrate physics principles in mechanics, optics, and electricity and magnetism.
