Jackson Nakasone<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jackson Nakasone and Ted Pettit have been appointed to the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> Foundation<\/a> board of trustees.<\/p>\n

Jackson Nakasone<\/strong> is the CEO<\/abbr> and principal of CBI, Inc.<\/abbr><\/a> His company has a franchise agreement with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, an international commercial real estate group. After graduating from the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> in 1968, Nakasone embarked on a career in the hospitality industry where he specialized in opening hotels and restaurants. An expert in the hospitality industry, Nakasone has served as an interim instructor at Kapiʻolani<\/span> Community College<\/a>, and consultant to companies including San Miguel Beer, Okada Trucking and City Bank.<\/p>\n

Ted Pettit<\/strong> is a director\/shareholder at Case Lombardi and Pettit<\/a>, a law corporation. Here he concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganization, collections and commercial litigation. Pettit earned his JD<\/abbr> from the William S. Richardson School of Law<\/a>, University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa in 1986. Pettit has authored numerous legal publications including Hawaiʻi<\/span> Collection and Bankruptcy Law Manual (4th ed., 2013) and Foreclosure and Related Remedies, Hawaiʻi<\/span> Chapter (2011, American Bar Association).<\/p>\n
