Their 13-day tour stops in Montr&#233;al, Canada and five states on the U.S. east coast where they will perform Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Tahitian, English, Filipino and American pieces.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We can be kind of an artistic face for M&#257;noa,&rdquo; said Associate Professor <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/music\/about-us\/faculty\/miguel-felipe\/\">Miguel &#193;ngel Felipe<\/a><\/strong>. &ldquo;We&#8217;ll travel, we&#8217;ll recruit, we&#8217;ll offer opportunities for alumni to reconnect and we&#8217;ll bring the name M&#257;noa to the whole eastern seaboard.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46925\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46925\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/manoa-music-voices-of-aloha-group.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"324\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46925\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/manoa-music-voices-of-aloha-group.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/manoa-music-voices-of-aloha-group-260x136.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> at M&#257;noa Voices of Aloha<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"clear-photo\">The tour includes nine concerts, two high school workshops, two clinics with prominent conductors and one church service, but many of the students say they are looking forward to their visit to the Rikers Island Correctional Facility in New York the most.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think to bring some sort of joy through music to people that might not have it all the time is really exciting for us,&rdquo; said music student and choir member <strong>Vanessa Gabrielle Maldonado<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>The Voices of Aloha singers are not only serving as musical ambassadors for <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>.
