He understands what it means to be a Warrior having played and coached here and what affect a winning program has with this community. I have no doubt we picked the right man for this job. The future is bright for <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> football.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Being raised a Warrior, there is a great sense of excitement and responsibility about bringing back a winning tradition to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> football,&rdquo; Rolovich said. &ldquo;I can&#8217;t wait to get started. I&#8217;m honored to be selected to run this program which has made me into the man I am today.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"676\" height=\"380\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pb9OL5N3ze0\" title=\"Youtube video player\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>More on Nick Rolovich<\/h2>\n<p>Rolovich starred for <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> from 2000&#8211;01 and later joined the Greg McMackin&#8217;s coaching staff from 2008&#8211;11, the latter three years as the team&#8217;s primary play-caller. He joined Nevada in 2012 and spent the past four seasons as the offensive coordinator under head coach Brian Polian.<\/p>\n<p>Rolovich becomes the 23rd head coach for the Rainbow Warrior program. At 36, he is the fifth-youngest head coach in <abbr>NCAA<\/abbr> Division <abbr title=\"one\">I<\/abbr> Football Bowl Subdivision and the youngest to lead the Rainbow Warriors since Dick Tomey in 1977.<\/p>\n<p>Regarded as one of the top offensive minds in the country, Rolovich has proven an accomplished play-caller in operating the run and shoot, as well as the pistol offense.
