The sessions are designed for the general public, with the several sessions geared specifically to educators.<\/p>\n<p>Geek Day also offers a Digital Caf&eacute;, where participants can discover new apps, receive one-on-one help with computer problems and view demos of <abbr>3D<\/abbr> printing and hands-on robotics.<\/p>\n<p>For the photography sessions, participants are asked to bring their own camera. For <abbr>BYOD<\/abbr> sessions, participants are asked to bring their own mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions include how to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get more views on YouTube (and generate revenue)<\/li>\n<li>Shoot better digital photos (bring your own camera)<\/li>\n<li>Shoot and edit a video with GoPro<\/li>\n<li>Build your own app<\/li>\n<li>Buy and use a drone (with demos, weather permitting)<\/li>\n<li>Build a website with WordPress<\/li>\n<li>Understand crowdsourcing apps like Waze<\/li>\n<li>Draw with Adobe Illustrator<\/li>\n<li>Understand computer security<\/li>\n<li>Use a no-cost alternative to Photoshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All activities are free and open to the public. Workshops include both Mac and Windows platforms.
