The public is invited to join the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Hilo<\/a> for its inaugural Holiday Lava Run\/Walk on Saturday, December 6. The 5K course is designed to give participants of all ages the chance to explore the 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo campus in a family-friendly, festive run\/walk. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. on the Campus Center Plaza, with the race kicking off at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n

Created by the 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo Alumni and Friends Association<\/a> in partnership with the 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo Student Athlete Advisory Council<\/a>, the event aims to bring students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members together.<\/p>\n

“As a proud alumnus of 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo, I am especially excited to serve as chair of this Holiday Lava Run,” said 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo Alumni Board member Adams Agtarap<\/strong>. “We are diligently working with an amazing planning team and are looking forward to having as many people as possible to sign up and join us in this fun and festive event, showcasing the growth of 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo.”<\/p>\n

The run\/walk will also feature a holiday costume contest and a health and fitness fair with music, prizes and vendor booths.<\/p>\n

Registration is $30. The entry fee includes a limited edition t-shirt, water, snacks and a race bag. Teams must have a minimum of four participants.<\/p>\n
