Participants can also play international board and card games from around the world&#8212;crokinole, konane, loteria, mahjong, mille bornes, senet, tiddlywinks and yut nori. <\/p>\n<p>International Education Week is a joint initiative of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/\">U.S. Department of State<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.gov\/\">U.S. Department of Education<\/a> that promotes schools and programs that prepare students for the global environment as well as quality international experiences abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the festivities.
