University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa softball<\/a> third baseman Jamie McGaughey was named Big West Field Player of the Week after leading the Rainbow Wahine to a series sweep at UC<\/abbr> Riverside to close the regular season, May 1–2.<\/p>\n

McGaughey batted .600 with three home runs, a double, six runs scored and four RBI<\/abbr> over the weekend. She delivered a standout performance, hitting 4-for-4 with two home runs in the second game of the series.<\/p>\n

She finished the series with a 1.600 slugging percentage and .667 on-base percentage while also playing error-free defense at third base.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine (29-18 overall, 21-6 Big West) earned the No.<\/abbr> 2 seed in the double-elimination Big West Softball Championship at Anderson Family Field in Fullerton, California. ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½<\/abbr> will play the winner of No.<\/abbr> 3 seed UC<\/abbr> Santa Barbara vs.<\/abbr> No.<\/abbr> 6 seed UC<\/abbr> San Diego on May 7.<\/p>\n
