He is known as the Island Freestyle Champion, winning <abbr>MC<\/abbr> battles both locally and on the mainland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ian O&#8217;Sullivan<\/strong><br \/>\nProclaimed by <em>Classical Guitar<\/em> as &ldquo;thoughtful&rdquo; and praised by <em>The Honolulu Advertiser<\/em> as &ldquo;delightful,&rdquo; Ian O&#8217;Sullivan is a classically-trained guitarist and composer from the North Shore of <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>. &#8217;Sullivan released his first solo album <em>Born and Raised<\/em>, featuring his original compositions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jaimie Gusman<\/strong><br \/>\nJaimie Gusman is a poet, <abbr>PhD<\/abbr> candidate in creative writing at <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/\"><abbr>ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½<\/abbr> M&#257;noa<\/a>, and a digital marketing newbie. In her spare time she runs <a href=\"http:\/\/miahonolulu.com\/\">Mixing Innovative Arts<\/a>, a monthly reading series and summer writing workshop series in <span aria-label=\"Kakaako\">Kaka&#699;ako<\/span>. Jaimie has two chapbooks, <em>The Anyjar<\/em> and <em>One Petal Row<\/em>, and her poems can be found in online and print journals nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Odhiambo<\/strong><br \/>\nDavid Odhiambo was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He is the author of <em>diss\/ed banded nation<\/em>, <em>Kipligat&#8217;s Chance<\/em> and <em>the Reverend&#8217;s Apprentice<\/em>.
