{"id":23297,"date":"2014-03-12T14:42:11","date_gmt":"2014-03-13T00:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/?p=23297"},"modified":"2021-11-02T16:38:49","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T02:38:49","slug":"uh-mobile-app-hackathon-open-to-uh-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2014\/03\/12\/uh-mobile-app-hackathon-open-to-uh-students\/","title":{"rendered":"<abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Mobile App Hackathon open to <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> students"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/hackathon-banner.jpg\" alt=\"U H mobile app hackathon banner\" width=\"400\" height=\"103\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-23296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/hackathon-banner.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/hackathon-banner-260x66.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Students from across the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> System<\/a> are invited to participate in a mobile app coding competition taking place on the <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa campus during spring break March 27&#8211;29.<\/p>\n<p>The three-day <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/its\/hackathon\/\"><abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Mobile App Hackathon<\/a>, sponsored by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.att.com\">AT&#038;T<\/a>, and hosted in the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/technology\/itcenter\/\"><abbr>IT<\/abbr> Center<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/its\/\">Information Technology Services<\/a>, will include advance preparation workshops presented by the <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ics.hawaii.edu\/\">information and computer sciences department<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Teams of students will each have two days to design\/build an Android or iOS app and on the third day the teams will be given five minutes to present their finished app to a panel of judges, culminating with presentation of awards and prizes following lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-registration of currently enrolled <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> students is being conducted on the event webpage.
