The issue includes a <a href=\"https:\/\/ojs.westoahu.hawaii.edu\/dpp\/article\/view\/46\/14\">Letter from the Editor<\/a> by Tanya H\u014dk\u016blani Racoma, the fall 2025 <em><abbr>DPP<\/abbr><\/em> editor-in-chief.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The issue moves from works grounded in <span lang=\"haw\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>\u2019s memory and everyday life, to creative retellings of familiar stories through local and Indigenous lenses, and then to ethical and critical essays engaging film, media, and social justice,&rdquo; Racoma said. &ldquo;It concludes with reflections on writing, identity and ancestral knowledge.
