On defense, Peter Manuma, received Defensive <abbr>MVP<\/abbr> honors for his team-high 72 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss and five pass breakups.<\/p>\n<p>Kicker Kansei Matsuzawa, whose story gained national attention throughout the season, received Special Teams <abbr>MVP<\/abbr>. Matsuzawa tied the <abbr title=\"National Collegiate Athletic Association\">NCAA<\/abbr> record for most consecutive field goals to start a season (25) and set new <abbr>ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½<\/abbr> and Mountain West records with 26 straight overall. His 25 field goals in 2025 are also a program best.<\/p>\n<p>The Ben Yee Most Inspirational Award was shared by defensive linemen Jackie Johnson <abbr title=\"the third\">III<\/abbr> and Tariq Jones. Scout team honors went to freshman receiver Titan Lacaden and junior defensive back Riis Weber.
