The transition begins Thursday, December 11 at 5:30 p.m., when <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Banner and its connected systems will go offline. The new system is targeted to be available Saturday, January 3, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: Faculty at the William S. Richardson School of Law should continue following instructions from the Law School\u2019s Registrar.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>An immediate student impact may be experienced during registration, as fee assessments have been disabled, meaning students will not see their billing charges for the spring semester until the new system goes live in January.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and advisors are encouraged to check their hawaii.edu email and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/its-banner\/resources-training-videos\/faculty\/\">faculty page of the Banner Modernization Project website<\/a> regularly for updates. Training materials, reference guides, and other resources will continue to be added throughout December.<\/p>\n<h2>System downtime: December 11&#8211;January 3<\/h2>\n<p>During the transition period:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Banner will be offline.<\/li>\n<li>STAR access will be view-only and static based on December 11 data (December 13 to early January).<\/li>\n<li>Course availability will be offline (a new course availability website will launch with the new system).<\/li>\n<li>Advisor lists and faculty final grade worksheets will be unavailable.<\/li>\n<li>Lamak\u016b and the Course Evaluation System will remain open.<\/li>\n<li>Student report cards will be available once eBanner reopens in January (unofficial grades may still be viewed in Lamak\u016b).<\/li>\n<li>TouchNet, the student payment system, will be unavailable during the transition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Faculty and advisor to-do list<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Before December 11 (last day of instruction):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If all grading for a course is completed prior to December 11, enter grades in the current system (<abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Banner).<\/li>\n<li>Meet with students before registration opens on Monday, November 10, and encourage timely registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>After December 11&#8212;Grade entry schedule in new system (eBanner)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Banner will open for final grade submissions during specific timeframes. Grade entry will occur through Banner Self-Service 9 only during these hours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>December 18&#8211;19: <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> West <span lang=\"haw\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> faculty (8 a.m.&#8211;4 p.m. <em>Note: 4 p.m.) <abbr>HST<\/abbr> on December 19 is a hard stop. Grade entry access will not resume until January 3 or later<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>December 19&#8211;23: <span lang=\"haw\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> <abbr title=\"Community College\">CC<\/abbr>, Honolulu <abbr>CC<\/abbr>, <span lang=\"haw\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>, <span lang=\"haw\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>, Leeward C<abbr>CC<\/abbr>C, <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo, <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa, <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Maui College, and Windward <abbr>CC<\/abbr> faculty (8 a.m.&#8211;4 p.m.) <em>Note: 4 p.m. <abbr>HST<\/abbr> on December 23 is a hard stop.
