The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa men\u2019s volleyball team<\/a> placed five players on the AVCA<\/abbr> All-America team, including two on the first team\u2014setter Tread Rosenthal and outside hitter Adrien Roure. In addition, opposite Kristian Titriyski was selected to the second team, while libero ʻEleu<\/span> Choy and middle blocker Kurt Nusterer were honorable mention selections.<\/p>\n

The five honorees are tied for the second-most in a single season behind a program-record six in 2023. It marks the eighth time in the last nine years that the Rainbow Warriors had at least four student-athletes honored.<\/p>\n

Rosenthal, a sophomore, ranks third nationally in assists with 10.65 per set, and Roure, a freshman, was Big West Championship MVP and averages 3.14 kills per set this season. Titriyski, also a freshman, averages 4.24 kills and 0.45 aces per set. Nusterer leads the team in 1.02 blocks per set, while Choy has a team-high 1.68 digs per set and is the only player to start all 31 matches.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Warriors (26-5) are the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NCAA<\/abbr> Championships and will face Penn State in a national quarterfinal match on May 8, at the Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio. The national semifinals are on May 10, and the championship match is on May 12.<\/p>\n
