University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa infielder Shunsuke Sakaino has earned Big West Player of the Week honors after leading 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>\u2019s offense with a series of clutch hits in the Rainbow Warriors\u2019 season opening sweep of Marshall.<\/p>\n

Sakaino hit .583 (7-for-12) in the four-game series, driving in seven runs, scoring five, and tallying three doubles. He sealed a 7-6 win on February 15, with a walk-off single and delivered a key two-run double in the February 14 comeback. He added another two-run double on February 16.<\/p>\n

The infielder, who transferred from Cal State Northridge, leads the Big West with seven RBI<\/abbr>s and is tied for the conference lead with three stolen bases. The San Diego native is 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>\u2019s first Big West Player of the Week since 2023.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Warriors hold the nation\u2019s best home-winning streak at 15 games, while winning their ninth game in a row dating back to last year, also the longest active streak nationally. 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> returns to Les Murakami Stadium on February 20 hosting Wichita State in a four game series.<\/p>\n
