For the second consecutive week and third time this season, University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa\u2019s Louis Sakanoko was named Big Wests Freshman of the Week following the Rainbow Warriors\u2019 series split of CSUN, March 22\u201323.<\/p>\n

Sakanoko started both matches and averaged a team-best 3.63 kills per set along with averages of 2.00 digs and 0.75 blocks per set. He hit .276 for the series with three aces.<\/p>\n

In the series opener, the outside hitter tallied 10 kills, three aces, seven digs and three blocks in a four-set victory. The following night, he matched his season-high in kills with 19, hitting at a .324 clip, with nine digs and three blocks in a four-set loss.<\/p>\n
