The confidential survey can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfesyhMO5tuPVWfgSl8XwudEWJz0rP3wgTr-w6RjcOQo4BIbA\/viewform\">糖心Vlog官方Presidentsurvey.org<\/a> and will be open through February 15.<\/p>\n<p>Questions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What does <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> need most in a new leader?<\/li>\n<li>What will be the most critical work to be done by the new President in the next 3 to 5 years?<\/li>\n<li>What goals, values and\/or capabilities should the next <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> president have to lead?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;This is the first opportunity for our students, employees, alumni, community members and other constituency groups to participate in this very important process,&rdquo; said <abbr>BOR<\/abbr> Chair Alapaki Nahale-a. &ldquo;The feedback we will receive from this survey will be a critical part of the process to select the next leader of <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>, whose success is critical to the future of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr>BOR<\/abbr> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2023\/12\/07\/regents-approve-search-process-for-next-uh-president\/\">set the hiring process for the next president<\/a> at a December 7 board meeting to find a successor for <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> President David Lassner. Lassner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2023\/09\/19\/uh-president-lassner-retirement-plans\/\">announced in September<\/a> that he will retire at the end of 2024 or when the next president officially starts.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr>BOR<\/abbr> is currently in the process of hiring, by January 31, an executive search company with access to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> expertise and\/or <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> focus to conduct a national search and recruit candidates.<\/p>\n<p>The board is holding a special public meeting on January 4 to finalize details of the advisory group of representatives from stakeholder groups including students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.
