University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> women’s volleyball<\/a> senior middle blocker Amber Igiede earned her fourth AVCA<\/abbr> (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Pacific North All-Region honor on December 5. She has now earned back-to-back All-Region First Team honors in 2022 and ’23. Igiede received honorable mention spots as a freshman and a sophomore.<\/p>\n

Igiede is the only non-PAC-12 player to be on the first team, joining four each from Stanford and Oregon and one from Washington State. More than 200 student-athletes from 103 different schools were honored.<\/p>\n

Igiede helped lead the Rainbow Wahine to their fourth-straight conference title as 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> swept their way through the inaugural Big West Championship tournament to punch their ticket to the program’s 30th consecutive and 41st NCAA<\/abbr> Championship appearance. She ends her stellar career as one of only four Rainbow Wahine to ever record over 1,000 kills and 500 blocks, finishing with 1,371 kills and 528 blocks for her career. <\/p>\n

This year, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native led the Big West with a career-high 435 kills. She was also the league leader in kill\/set (3.72), hitting percentage (.396), points (540.0) and points\/set (4.62). Igiede led 糖心Vlog官方 with 28 service aces, 27 block solos, 100 block assists, 127 total blocks and she scooped up a career-high 117 digs.<\/p>\n
