The first race will begin at 10 a.m. each day, weather permitting. The regatta features 14 schools competing over the course of two days with <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> hosting the event for the first time since 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The top two finishers in the regatta will qualify for the 2023 national championships, which will be hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in King&#8217;s Point, N.Y., in late May. <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> looks to make its second straight appearance in the fleet nationals and 19th overall appearance for the program. The Rainbow Wahine sailors have already punched their ticket to New York and the women&#8217;s national semifinals after finishing second in the <abbr>PCCSC<\/abbr> Women&#8217;s Championship held last weekend Santa Barbara, Calif.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend will also mark the final home regatta for senior sailors <strong>Owen Lahr<\/strong>, <strong>Kelsie Grant<\/strong>, <strong>Chloe Long<\/strong>, <strong>Katherine Shofran<\/strong>, <strong>Taylor Ledgerwood<\/strong> and <strong>Frances Tarpey-Schwed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to preparing for the championship regatta, the <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> sailing team along with athletes and coaches from the <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> soccer and swimming teams held a waterfront cleanup on April 20 at Sand Island in the area where spectators will be watching.
