University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa beach volleyball<\/a> players Chandler Cowell and Sydney Miller were named the Big West Pairs Team of the Week after a stellar showing in the Best in the West tournament, which took place March 4–5 in Laguna Beach, California. It is the first career weekly honor for the pair.<\/p>\n

Cowell and Miller enjoyed an unblemished record at the No. 5 court as 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> swept four matches against Big West rivals California Polytechnic State University and No. 14 Long Beach State University. The duo were the only pair all weekend to go undefeated during the double round-robin tournament. They clinched the winning point in 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>‘s narrow 3-2 win over Cal Poly on the first day and proved vital in a pair of tight 3-2 wins over Long Beach State, including a straight set win in the final match of the tournament. The pair improved to a perfect 5-0 on the year.<\/p>\n

The No. 9 BeachBows (7-3), return home to host the Heineken Queen’s Cup, March 10–12 at Queen\u2019s Beach. 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> will take on University of Oregon, University of Nebraska, University of Texas, University of California, Berkeley and University of Washington.<\/p>\n
