The seven student-athletes recognized are <strong>Lily Wahinekapu<\/strong>, <strong>Imani Perez<\/strong>, <strong>Kallin Spiller<\/strong> and <strong>Daejah Phillips<\/strong> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\">women\u2019s basketball<\/a> team, and <strong>JoVon McClanahan<\/strong>, <strong>Noel Coleman<\/strong> and <strong>Kamaka Hepa<\/strong> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\">men\u2019s basketball<\/a> team.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s basketball<\/h2>\n<p>Wahinekapu was named to the All-Conference First Team. The sophomore guard from <span aria-label=\"Kaneohe\">Kane&#699;ohe<\/span> led the Rainbow Wahine this year in points per game (11.9), assists (82) and steals (48). Along with Spiller, she has started in every game this season.<\/p>\n<p>Perez was named to the All-Conference Freshman Team after averaging four points and three rebounds per game. The forward from Denver, Colorado has played in 29 games and started in five. She has averaged over 20 minutes, scoring 10 or more points in her last four contests. Perez also earned her first career double-double against California State University, Northridge on March 2.<\/p>\n<p>Spiller and Phillips both received honorable mentions. Spiller has averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game while starting in 41 games dating back to last season. She is currently the No. 2 rebounder in the Big West. The junior guard from Vallejo, California averaged 13.5 points per game across Big West contests. He also helped <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>  get off to a 5-1 league start by scoring double-digits in each of the first eight games of Big West play, including 23 points in the opener against <abbr title=\"University of California\">UC<\/abbr>  Davis on December 29, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Coleman and Hepa earned honorable mentions. Coleman is <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>\u2019s leading scorer for the second straight season (12.2 points per game) and also the team\u2019s top defender (team-high 33 steals). He ranks No. 2 in the Big West in minutes per game (34.3). Hepa, who is team captain, owns the top two scoring games by a Rainbow Warrior this year. He leads the team in three-pointers (66) and three-point field goal percentage (.393), while also notching a team-high five double-doubles&#8212;three of which were in conference play.
