Hale Pohak&#363;, the <abbr>CMS<\/abbr> mid-level facility and the Maunakea 糖心Vlog官方or Station is at the 9,300 foot elevation of Maunakea. The last time it snowed there was February 2020.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/hilo-maunakea-022023-snow-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"maunakea\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-173441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/hilo-maunakea-022023-snow-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/hilo-maunakea-022023-snow-130x73.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/hilo-maunakea-022023-snow.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Over the past few days we have had a good amount of rain coming into Hilo and combined with the cold temperatures from the recent cold front, we got a beautiful dusting of snow this morning,&rdquo; said <strong>Nahua Guilloz<\/strong>, Director of Stewardship Programs at <abbr>CMS<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>Temperatures on the summit at 13,803 feet above sea level dropped to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. <a href=\"http:\/\/mkwc.ifa.hawaii.edu\/\">糖心Vlog官方ors to Maunakea are encouraged to always check the status of Maunakea Access Road online before heading to the mauna<\/a>.
