The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa swimming and diving programs turned in a strong start under first year head coach Michael Stephens<\/strong>, highlighted by a pair of school records, numerous top 10 times and a dozen NCAA<\/abbr> B cut times and Zone E diving standards.<\/p>\n

Rainbow Wahine<\/h2>\n

The women\u2019s swimming and diving<\/a> team delivered the highlight of the fall, setting a pair of school freestyle relay records at the Southern Methodist University (SMU<\/abbr>) Invitational in November. The 200 free relay squad of Holly Nelson, Laticia Transom, Anna Friedrich<\/strong> and Gabrielle Scudamore <\/strong>swam a 1:29.63 on the first day of the meet before setting a school and SMU<\/abbr> pool record in the 400 free relay by clocking a 3:16.45 on the final day.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine also turned in 26 program top-10 marks during the fall, while collecting seven NCAA<\/abbr> B cut times and Zone E diving standards. 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> also currently owns Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF<\/abbr>)-best times and diving marks in 11 different events while holding 29 top-five marks in the MPSF<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

The squad has been led by Transom, a fifth-year transfer who currently sits in the top three in school history in five different events (50, 100, 200 free, 100 fly and 100 back), while holding NCAA<\/abbr> B cut times in each. She earned MPSF<\/abbr> Female Athlete of the Week honors<\/a> following both meets this fall and is the conference leader in five events while sitting in the national top 20 in the 100 (16th) and 200 free (12th).<\/p>\n

Rainbow Warriors<\/h2>\n

The men\u2019s swimming and diving<\/a> team also turned in strong showings, posting seven program top 10\u2019s while securing five NCAA<\/abbr> B cuts and Zone E diving standards. The men also own 21 top five times or diving marks in the MPSF<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

Swimmers Milan Bukovics<\/strong> and Mario Surkovic<\/strong> each added their names to the 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> top 10 in two events each, with Bukovics cracking the top 10 in the 400 IM and 200 fly, and Surkovic in the 100 and 200 free. Additionally, divers Juan Gonzalez<\/strong> and Mackaby Pennington<\/strong> posted top-10 marks in platform diving at the SMU<\/abbr> Invitational while also securing NCAA<\/abbr> Zone E standards.<\/p>\n

糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> is currently off from competition but will be back in action at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex on January 6 for a tri-meet with Texas Christian University and the Air Force Academy.<\/p>\n
