The <a href=\"https:\/\/bh808.hawaii.gov\/\">Statewide Substance Use, Mental Health and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> CARES Summary<\/a> is a web site of the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/health.hawaii.gov\/\">State Department of Health<\/a>\u2019s (<abbr>DOH<\/abbr>) Behavioral Health Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The dashboard, a collaboration between the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>, <abbr>DOH<\/abbr> and 14 partner organizations from across the state, was released in October. <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Associate Director of Cyberinfrastructure <a href=\"https:\/\/datascience.hawaii.edu\/\">Sean Cleveland<\/a> and his team, as a part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/datascience.hawaii.edu\/\"><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Data Science Institute<\/a>, built this new substance use disorder and mental health dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>It displays <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>\u2019s current behavioral health trends in drug overdose, polysubstance abuse, co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The ongoing collaboration between <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> and <abbr>DOH<\/abbr> will include more available datasets, updates to usability, accessibility and improved mobile support. Stakeholder meetings will also be held to collect feedback on the dashboard&#8217;s design and features.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This behavioral health dashboard is of importance to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> because it promotes the use of public health surveillance data to improve interventions for substance use and mental disorders.
