Attendees can participate in activities such as lei making, art and poetry workshops and a special screening of the Duke Kahanamoku documentary, <em>Waterman<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The aim of the festival is to celebrate indigeneity and provide an opportunity for people from all walks of life to engage and learn about each other, building and strengthening relationships on the basis of our shared humanity with the longer term goal of eradicating racism from our campus and society,&rdquo; said <strong>Jennifer Stotter<\/strong>, a director and Title <abbr title=\"roman numeral nine\">IX<\/abbr> Coordinator from the <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo <a href=\"https:\/\/hilo.hawaii.edu\/directory\/affiliation\/EEOAA\">Office of Equal Opportunity\/Title  <abbr title=\"roman numeral nine\">IX<\/abbr><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Day events<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>K\u012bpaepae<\/strong> (traditional ceremony) and opening remarks, noon, Campus Center<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workshops<\/strong>: native plants, lei making, art and poetry, noon&#8211;4 p.m., Campus Center<\/li>\n<li><strong>Booths<\/strong>: <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Hilo <a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.uhh.hawaii.edu\/\">Daniel K.
