1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><figure id=\"attachment_16688\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16688\" style=\"width: 299px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/youth.jpg\" alt=\"2 children holding pledge\" width=\"299\" height=\"326\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16688\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/youth.jpg 299w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/youth-238x260.jpg 238w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 299px) 100vw, 299px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16688\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(photo courtesy of the University Center, West <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More than 80 youth, ranging from pre-school to seniors in high school, signed a promise to stay in school, graduate and attend college as part of an exhibit presented by the <a href=\"http:\/\/hawaii.hawaii.edu\/ucwh\/\">University Center, West <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Center, West <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> made the push to keep kids in school during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kona-kohala.com\/2011-earth-day-festival-at-keauhou.html\">West <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Earth and Ocean Family Fun Health Fair<\/a> held in Kailua-Kona on April 20.<\/p>\n<p>The free community event, recognizing Earth Day, was presented by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, Kealakehe High School, West <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Community Health Center and the <a href=\"http:\/\/seagrant.soest.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Sea Grant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This was a great event overall, and we were happy to be able to deliver our message about the importance of education,&rdquo;
