The University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> at M\u0101noa is launching &ldquo;Finding Our Kuleana,&rdquo; a collection of personal narratives that capture four haum\u0101na (students) who discover their purpose and sense of responsibility while pursuing college degrees.<\/p>\n<p><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa students <strong>Kahealani Acosta<\/strong> (College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources), <strong>Tate Castillo<\/strong> (Shidler College of Business), <strong>Beau Nakamori<\/strong> (School of Architecture) and <strong>Kelsey Maloney<\/strong> (School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology) are featured in the video profiles that will air on local <abbr>TV<\/abbr> programming, radio and social media. The four haum\u0101na who share their <span aria-label=\"moolelo\">mo&#699;olelo<\/span> provide us tangible examples of what this journey looks and feels like. I am so grateful to them because their stories invite each of us to reflect on how we take part in this important work.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa launched its strategic plan, &ldquo;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/manoa-2025-strategic-plan.pdf\">M\u0101noa 2025: Our Kuleana to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the World<\/a><\/em> (<span class=\"small-text\"><abbr title=\"Portable Document Format\">PDF<\/abbr><\/span>).&rdquo; The new plan, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/strategicplan\/\">M\u0101noa 2025<\/a><\/em>, articulates how the university will strive to meet its mission statement&#8212;&ldquo;E <span aria-label=\"hoomalamalama\">ho&#699;om\u0101lamalama<\/span> i k\u014d m\u0101lama: Cultivating the potential within each member of our community,&rdquo; and vision statement&#8212;&rdquo;He lamak\u016b o ke aloha &#699;\u0101ina: A leading light of aloha &#699;\u0101ina for <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the world.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><em>M\u0101noa 2025<\/em> identified four goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Becoming a Native Hawaiian Place of Learning<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing Student Success<\/li>\n<li>Excellence in Research<\/li>\n<li>Building a Sustainable and Resilient Campus Environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;Finding Our Kuleana&rdquo; is an opportunity to reimagine and illustrate how <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa can best serve our communities.
