In its annual rankings of the Best Medical Schools<\/a>, U.S. News and World Report has placed the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine<\/a> onto its lists of Best Medical Schools for Primary Care and Best Medical Schools for Research.<\/em><\/p>\n

JABSOM<\/abbr>’s primary care program was ranked 66, tied with the University of California-Irvine, University of Connecticut, University of Florida and West Virginia University medical schools. In the research category, JABSOM<\/abbr> was ranked 82, tied with the medical schools at Creighton University and Texas A&M Health Science Center.<\/p>\n

The U.S. News and World Report<\/em> annual rankings of professional school programs in business, education, engineering, law and medicine are based on both expert opinion and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research and students, according to the magazine. JABSOM<\/abbr> has consistently ranked in the top 100.<\/p>\n
