Retrofitting the complex to be ready to host the Rainbow Warrior football games for the 2021 season will cost\u00a0more than $6 million. To raise funds in support of the project, a campaign for the Clarence <abbr>T.C.<\/abbr> Ching Athletics Complex, has been launched.<\/p>\n<p><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa\u00a0Provost <strong>Michael Bruno<\/strong> said, &ldquo;Bringing\u00a0<abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Football back to campus\u00a0will energize the M&#257;noa campus as a place for our students, faculty and staff, alumni, our neighbors and donor communities to be deeply connected. Ching Field<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The plan includes increasing seating capacity; installing a new scoreboard and sound system; upgrading the press box; and other amenities needed to host Division\u00a0<abbr title=\"1\">I<\/abbr> <abbr title=\"football bowl series\">FBS<\/abbr>\u00a0college football games.<\/p>\n<p>Athletics Director <strong>David Matlin<\/strong> said, &ldquo;We have a big opportunity here! This isn\u2019t just about relocating the team\u2019s games. It\u2019s an exciting time for rethinking the whole fan experience and revitalizing student engagement. The unique atmosphere that comes with on-campus college football will be a great addition to campus life and the entire <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> community.&rdquo;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gifts made in support of the campaign for the Clarence <abbr>T.C.<\/abbr> Ching Athletics Complex will benefit <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Football.\u00a0The space will also be a new gathering place for outdoor events for the whole community, including youth football, concerts, high school graduations and possibly international tournaments and sporting events.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The state-of-the-art Clarence <abbr>T.C.<\/abbr> Ching Athletic Complex opened in 2015. In the heart of the M&#257;noa campus, it is home to <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>\u2019s beach volleyball, soccer, and track and field teams, and it\u2019s a practice facility for <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Rainbow Warrior and Wahine student-athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make a gift at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaiiathletics.com\/ChingField\">www.hawaiiathletics.com\/ChingField<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> is welcoming donations to help pay for the upgrades to Clarence T.C.
