This year\u2019s HI Pride T-Shirt Design Contest winner is <strong>Deborah Yuan<\/strong>, a marketing major at <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa.<\/p>\n<p>With a record number of entries this year, Yuan beat out the competition and received more than 400 votes. Her original HI Pride design depicts the connection of nature\u2019s cycle with a linear graphic of water flowing from mountains to the sea. &ldquo;<span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> is a place where we truly feel the power of connection&#8212;the bond to people and nature. To me, HI Pride reflects pride in that connection,&rdquo; Yuan said.<\/p>\n<h2>HI Pride T-shirt colors<\/h2>\n<p>The 2020 HI Pride shirts will be available online at all <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Bookstore websites from the week of August 24. The shirts will be available in black and white as well as <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> campus colors.<\/p>\n<p>Students with a valid <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> <abbr>ID<\/abbr> are eligible for a discount on the first shirt they purchase.<\/p>\n<h2>More on the HI Pride design contest<\/h2>\n<p>The annual HI Pride T-Shirt Design Contest\u2014now in its ninth year\u2014is held each spring and open to all <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> students. Students are asked to submit designs that show what HI Pride (or <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Pride) means to them.
