India has emerged as a major democracy with a strong military. That is one of the key messages in a new book, Hard Realities: India, Pakistan, China in an Emerging New World<\/em>, by University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa Professor Amarjit Singh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Singh\u2019s book places India\u2019s military relationship with China and Pakistan in the perspective seen by mainstream India. <\/p>\n

Hard Realities<\/em> was published in the U.S.<\/abbr> by Lancer Publishers in Atlanta, Ga., under arrangement with Lancers Publisher & Distributors in New Delhi. It is available through Amazon in hard copy and Kindle, and from Google in e-books.<\/p>\n
