The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> was honored with the 2019 Tree Campus USA<\/abbr>®<\/a> recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation<\/a> for its commitment to effective urban forest management.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s an honor to be recognized for another consecutive year for our tree planting efforts,” said Roxanne Adams<\/strong>, 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M\u0101noa director of buildings and grounds. “We are dedicated to making the campus a beautiful place to learn while setting the example of sustainable living for the campus and community.”<\/p>\n

The Tree Campus USA<\/abbr> program honors colleges and universities for effective campus forest management and for engaging staff and students in conservation goals.<\/p>\n

“Tree Campuses and their students set examples for not only their student bodies but the surrounding communities showcasing how trees create a healthier environment,” said Dan Lambe, president of the Arbor Day Foundation. “Because of University of Hawaiʻi<\/span>‘s participation, the air will be purer, water cleaner and your students and faculty will be surrounded by the shade and beauty the trees provide.”<\/p>\n
