About a thousand people attended the event put on by the <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/careercenter\/\">M&#257;noa Career Center<\/a> at the Campus Center Ballroom and as expected, many of them were <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> seniors. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Just looking at different employers,&rdquo; said senior <strong>Gary Morgan<\/strong>. &ldquo;Looked at the <abbr>NSA<\/abbr>, some military and the Asian Pacific Forum.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Just wanted to explore my opportunities,&rdquo; said fellow senior <strong>Bruce Ho<\/strong>. &ldquo;Looking around for jobs after I graduate this semester.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Some of the attendees were alumni like <strong>Tiare Krewson<\/strong>, a 2007 <abbr>糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> M&#257;noa graduate. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I was looking at all of my options,&rdquo; said Krewson. &ldquo;I have worked in a couple of elementary schools with special needs children and I am kind of looking to get into the hotel business a little bit more.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Then there were those who just started college like freshman <strong>Dillon Takeshita<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I just want to keep my options open,&rdquo; said Takeshita. &ldquo;See what&#8217;s available to me.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>The semi-annual career fair is not only about finding jobs. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We use the fair as an opportunity for students to learn and plan ahead for future careers,&rdquo; said <strong>Wendy Sora<\/strong> of the M&#257;noa Career Center. &ldquo;As well as for those who are looking for those good opportunities now.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Students networked with employers, learned about cooperative education and internship opportunities and gained valuable information on career-life planning.
