Art Faculty Hōʻike<\/span><\/em><\/a> at Windward Community College\u2019s Gallery ʻIolani<\/span><\/a> highlights the work of the campus\u2019 studio art faculty: Kelly Ciurej<\/strong>, William Cook<\/strong>, Jacob Jackson<\/strong>, Toni Martin<\/strong>, Rob Molyneux<\/strong>, Bryce Myers<\/strong>, Paul Nash<\/strong>, Peleke Sacatropez<\/strong>, Jordan Souza<\/strong> and William Zwick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The exhibit runs from September 13 through October 13 with an opening reception and viewing on Friday, September 13, 1–7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Works in the exhibit include ceramics, photography, drawing and painting, sculpture, glass and Hawaiian wood carving.<\/p>\n

“These art faculty are world class, and the exhibit is marvelous,” said Martin, Gallery ʻIolani<\/span> director. “You will find yourself wandering through a variety of impactful art, from sculpture, carvings, drawings and paintings to a gentle flow into the back of the gallery where there\u2019s a whole other intimate discovery.”<\/p>\n

Gallery ʻIolani<\/span> has 1,800 square feet of space and is recognized as one of the finest exhibition sites in the state of Hawaiʻi,<\/span> showing work from local, national and international venues. It is the mission of Gallery ʻIolani<\/span> to promote exhibitions of cultural and educational significance. The gallery also serves as a classroom for students studying gallery design and management at Windward CC<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n
