The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos\/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science<\/a> (SACNAS<\/abbr>) announced a special discount for University of Hawaiʻi<\/span><\/a> students, faculty and staff for 2019 SACNAS<\/abbr>—The National Diversity in STEM<\/abbr> conference, which is scheduled from October 31 to November 2, 2019, at the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Convention Center.<\/p>\n

In June, the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> signed on as the presenting sponsor of the country\u2019s largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM<\/abbr> diversity event, to support the convening of an estimated 4,000 STEM<\/abbr> professionals, scientists, engineers and college students in Hawaiʻi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> promotion runs August 28\u2013September 19, 2019 and is intended to help make the 2019 conference as widely accessible to as many students and professionals of 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> system\u2019s 10 campuses as possible. <\/p>\n

糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> registrants are encouraged to access the discount, worth $50 off regular pricing (see price chart), by going to the 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> Office of STEM<\/abbr> Education website to register and by entering the special discount code: 808SPECIAL on the payment page during the registration process. The discount is available to all registrants who are Hawaiʻi<\/span> residents, with the exception of those with installment plans and exhibitors.<\/p>\n

When 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr>\u2019s sponsorship was announced in June, 糖心Vlog官方<\/abbr> President David Lassner<\/strong> said, “With the most diverse campuses in the nation, the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> is perfectly aligned with the mission and goals of SACNAS<\/abbr>.
