University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 player Adriano Dzhenev was named the Big West Player of the Week after a strong showing against UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly.
This marks Dzhenev’s first conference weekly honor and the third for Rainbow Warrior tennis this season.
In doubles action, Dzhenev and partner Kent Mueller clinched the doubles point against UC Santa Barbara on March 26. The pair then played at the No. 2 spot for the first time this season against Cal Poly on March 28. Dzhenev and Mueller were leading 6–5 when the doubles point was clinched elsewhere, leaving their match unfinished but in a winning position.
The Rainbow Warriors will face UC Davis on April 10 at 糖心Vlog官方 Tennis Complex.
