University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo sophomore Isabella Freeman was named Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week for September 22–28.

The middle blocker posted 10 total blocks, including three solo blocks, in the Vulcans’ two victories over Biola (September 26) and Concordia (September 27). Freeman was also stellar on the offensive end putting down 19 total kills.

Freeman is in her second season at 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo after leading the 2024 PacWest Conference season with 83 total blocks. Entering the Vulcans’ September 29 match, Freeman was ranked No. 8 in the NCAA Division II with 68 total blocks—helping the Vulcans rank No. 19 overall for team total blocks.
